Obituary of Dorothy Ann Harris

PENFIELD - Dotty passed away on March 10, 2023 in her home at age 83. She was predeceased by her parents, Everett and Kathleen Harris and sister, Jean Harris. She is survived by her beloved cousin, Margaret (Peter) Supinski; other cousins in New York, Florida and Ireland and many dear friends. Dotty was an artist and public school teacher in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York. She taught art and then special education in the Rochester City School District until her retirement in 2000. She later volunteered with her Shetland Sheep Therapy Dogs at various hospitals, schools and nursing homes.

Services and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donating to The RAD Program (Reading Assistance Dogs) at East Rochester Elementary School, 400 Woodbine Ave., East Rochester NY 14445 in her memory.
