Carol Ann (Treacy) Bauerschmidt

Our mom joined our dad in heaven on September 27, 2024.  She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Charles J Bauerschmidt (2018), infant twin daughters, parents Bill and Alice Treacy, brothers, Bob (Lois) and Teddy Treacy and son-in-law, Tim Lewis.  She is survived by her children, Mary Beth and Steve Verget, Clare and Jim Combs, Meg Lewis, Christine and Bob Topel, Katie and Tim Young, Chuck and Eileen Bauerschmidt and Carol Bauerschmidt and Michael Sadler.   She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, Terese Campagna, Alex Verget and Leanna Patterson; Virginia, Jimmy and Teddy Combs;  Jacob and Teagan Lewis; Ashley, Erin and Lindsay Topel; Wyatt Young;  Hannah Bauerschmidt, Ellie Fosdick, and Aidan Bauerschmidt; Olivia Green, John and Edward Sadler and six great grandchildren, as well as sisters-in-law, Lorraine Brown, Carol VanAtta, and Gail Bauerschmidt, nieces, nephews and life time friend, Clare (Peanut) Roland, SSJ.  

Born on May 15^th, 1932, our mom was a graduate of Sacred Heart School and a 1950 graduate of Nazareth Academy.  She earned her AS degree when she was 50 after graduating from MCC’s Tuesday/Thursday College for Women in 1982.  Mom was a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend and her devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren was immeasurable.   

Friends are welcome to join Carol’s family as they celebrate her life at her Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 43 Gebhardt Road in Penfield on Monday, October 7^th at 10:30 a.m.  Interment at White Haven Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Andrew’s Food Cupboard or Shepherd Home of Penfield.
