Judy Corn posted a condolence

Dear Lang Family,
This is Judy Corn, daughter-in-law of Sy's special friend Adele Fried. We were very fond of Sy and very grateful that he and Adele re-connected after decades apart. We spent quite a bit of time together with Sy and Adele in Florida and Rochester. One of my favorite memories of Sy was when they were residing at The Summit, a beautiful community for older adults. Dave, the kids and I were in Adele's apartment waiting for Sy to stop by before we went for dinner at "The Grill". Sy entered the apartment, greeted everyone, then opened up the seat of his rollator and announced "libations!!" with a gleam in his eye. He did love his pre-dinner cocktail! Being a studious, well-read, relatively "straight laced" person, we all embraced the fun-loving side that he demonstrated along with a spark of mischief.
We'll miss you Sy!

Mr. Lang, or as I knew him, Uncle Sigh was such a kind and loving gentleman. I can't remember him without a smile on his face and some wise words to share. I'll cherish the time I was fortunate enough to spend with him, amongst them a few vacations in the Outer Banks with his daughters and grandchildren that he was nice enough to let me join. I know all of us loved our time there over the years and we have him to thank for those amazing memories that we will never forget.
Love, Alex Whitney (Melanie and Melissa's nephew)

I loved your sense of humor, Mr. Lang. You were an amazing example of a man who loved and put his family first. Your children were so blessed to have you as their father as I’m sure you were blessed to have them as your children. I pray you and Robbie are now dancing in paradise. Love you eternally, Dawn xoxo
